About the Role

Remote anywhere in US. Base $90k - $140k, uncapped commission with strong OTE and solid equity. First sales hire at a very exciting FINTECH STARTUP!

Our client is an end-to-end loan servicing automation platform enabling a better loan administration experience for direct lenders and their borrowers. Their software helps lenders modernize and automate a significant portion of the loan administration burden inherent in the bespoke and dynamic loans found in the $1.5 trillion private credit market.

Vision for Role:

As a founding sales hire, the Account Executive will play a critical role in establishing the firm as a leading provider of software solutions for the private credit industry. The primary focus of the role is on generating new business opportunities, engaging with prospects throughout the sales cycle, closing deals, and building strong relationships with clients. The Account Executive will also be charged with building the sales organization including developing and implementing key workflows and processes and training new sales hires. The position offers unlimited growth for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market research to stay on top of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

- Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.

- Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through proactive prospecting, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing customer relationships.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

- Engage with prospects to understand their pain points and challenges, and effectively communicate the value proposition.

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospects.

- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and address any concerns.

Important Qualifications:

- Proven track record of success in B2B software sales within the financial technology industry.

- Familiarity with the software sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

- Knowledge of the lending process and an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of private credit operations.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics, ROI analysis, and competitive positioning.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
