CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT needed hybrid in NYC. $80k - $100k base plus bonus. Chance be part of a Fintech STARTUP that is experience massive growth and come in and help build their outsourced accounting practice. Ideally a couple years experience at a big four or midsize firm.

Our client is the leading provider of a Business Spend Management SaaS platform that sits above all other technologies and captures, houses and manages your vendors, contracts, and invoices while giving you the ability to allocate expenses in unlimited ways and layers, using any attribute. Their software is used by many of the top hedge funds, asset managers, private equity firms and family offices in the world.

This role is a unique opportunity to assist them with the creation, building, and management of a US based managed services team, with an anchor large family office client. Other time will also be spent with other clients, as well as assisting with the corporate accounting function for the financial technology company itself.

Job Description & Requirements:
Seeking an intelligent, dependable, hardworking, driven accountant that will initially assist a large family office client with accounting tasks such as maintaining the enterprises’ books and records, managing the business spend and expense allocation process, bank reconciliations, financial statement review, and financial reporting. This will be the first hire in the U.S. based managed services team of this quickly growing Financial Technology company. The goal would be to then expand this offering to other clients, and this person would have the opportunity to lead or be part of that growth.

The position requires a resource to excel at the following:
• A strong accounting background with CPA certification.
• Exhibit the highest level of integrity in order to be trusted with confidential information.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the client’s CFO, Controller, Legal and Tax teams.
• Ability to become an expert in the business spend management software.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organized with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities, while maintaining flexibility to change as the business demands.
• Must be professional and able to work with internal and external clients, proactively responding to inquiries and developing strong working relationships.
