About the Role

FOUNDING US SALES DIRECTOR needed at one of our STARTUP treasury tech clients! Hybrid 3 - 4 days a week in office in NYC only. Base $150k and OTE $375k with massive kickers for overperformance and very strong EQUITY based on performance that can put your total OTE well over $500k. Must have experience with and strong knowledge of hedge fund/prime broker financing. Chance to be the first sales hire in the US and strong potential to turn into a sales leadership role and build a team around you. True hunters only!

Our client is an award-winning fintech company revolutionizing hedge fund treasury operations. Their technology delivers data-driven insights that enhance collaboration between hedge funds and prime brokers, providing transparency, efficiency, and actionable intelligence.

Position Overview:

They are looking for a highly driven and experienced sales professional to help drive their sales efforts in the US market. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven track record of originating and closing complex sales with sophisticated hedge fund clients.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, source, and convert high-value sales opportunities with hedge funds
• Build and maintain deep client relationships through regular face-to-face interaction
• Develop a strong understanding of the product suite and its technical underpinnings to communicate value effectively
• Drive pipeline growth from the ground up in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions

Required experience:

• Reliable, trustworthy, and enjoyable to work with – someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Experience in hedge fund financing, preferably from a top-tier hedge fund, prime broker or bank, at a minimum level of senior VP / Director
• Experience in sales within the hedge fund ecosystem
• Strong hedge fund network
• True hunter mentality
• Deep understanding of the technicalities of financing, including swap and debit financing methodologies, securities lending, financing wallet, capital usage, and margin
• Technically curious with a desire to master the nuances of our platform and the broader financing ecosystem
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong executive presence
• Demonstrated success in previous roles
• Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership
