


About the Role
Global Head of Broker Relationships needed with one of my OMS/EMS clients. NYC area only. $150k - $165k base plus discretionary bonus.
This role will be empowered to manage their global broker dealer relationships across the entire industry. This role will operate with a high degree of autonomy in a structure designed to support success.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain relationships and a touchpoint cadence with the broker dealer community to manage their needs as well as the firm's customer base.
- Manage and negotiate broker’s commercial relationships.
- Champion the firm's value proposition to brokers and look for ways to gain further adoption of the platform and broker solutions.
- Gain a deep understanding of the firm's Buy Side offering and regularly understand the demands coming from within the Client Services group.
- Analyze usage data to segment brokers to execute the firm's strategy and work closely with Sales team helping them close deals and Client Services teams for broker engagement.
- Maintain broker pipeline and onboarding in Salesforce Sales Cloud.
Requirements:
- Must have a track record within financial software or services to buy side clients; with a minimum of 7 years of industrial experience.
- Existing broker dealer relationships and wide range of contacts across the industry
- Excellent communicator as this role involves owning relationships across hundreds of individuals and firms
- Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation, communication, and phone skills.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to adapt and prioritize self-sufficiently.
- Knowledge of major buy side EMS and OMS platforms, competitors, functionality
- Ideal candidates have previous broker relations experience with deep electronic trading knowledge.
