About the Role

HEAD OF MARKETING needed! Hybrid NY or Boston areas only. $175k - $215k base plus bonus. MUST have experience in demand generation in some capacity working with clients on the buy side or directly on the buy side (hedge funds, asset managers, etc.).

My client is the premier provider of cybersecurity software and solutions to the alternative investment industry. Its proprietary platform helps firms exceed and manage their governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements while combatting sophisticated cyber threats and third-party risks.

The Head of Marketing will be responsible driving demand and lead management to meet the firm's revenue goals. It will also be responsible for leading the Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Communications functions. This position will create the marketing strategy that supports overall strategic objectives.

Strategic Value of Role
1. Developing a Demand Generation Strategy to meet revenue growth objectives.
2. Driving marketing revenue contribution by implementing best practices for lead generation with ROMI dashboards to measure marketing contribution.
3. Leading effective product marketing and enablement of the field for product launch, upsell-cross-sell efforts, and renewal.
4. Focusing of the targeted Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) through account segmentation/white space and detailed understanding of the buying process.
5. Building the brand to develop campaigns targeting new logos, and expansion within the install base.

You Have
· At least 5-10 years leading the Marketing function with a demonstrated experience creating, building and managing demand generation campaigns supporting consistent corporate message, branding and marketing materials. Experience in the Fintech or Alternative Investment industry selling to CFO’s, Chief Compliance Offers and PE/Hedge fund Partners within these markets.
· Deep expertise in the areas of direct marketing methodologies initiatives, digital and social media strategy, business to business marketing programs to achieve business objectives.
· Demonstrated strong process improvement, analytical problem solving, and data driven decision making skills. Ability to develop and define the Company's lead to fulfillment efforts and correct measurements of success.
