About the Role

SENIOR SALES needed in NYC at a Private Equity Software STARTUP! Senior IC role to start with strong potential to move into a Player/Coach role quickly. Base $175k+ x2 OTE plus significant equity. Full time in office.

Our client is the provider of a leading digital deal modeling platform and is ready to bring on their first Senior Sales Exec as they continue to grow exponentially. This is a rare opportunity to come in and help shape and lead their sales organization while also directly selling and growing their client base.

Responsibilities:

• Directly sell into PE firms, Investment Banks and other Investment Firms
• Drive sales, aggressively expand the customer base and generate new revenue
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives in the front office
• Lead in-person client presentations to C-level executives, including information discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proposals
• Develop and implement a scalable sales process from prospecting/demand generation through contract execution
• Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
• Work closely with the leadership team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Sales/Sales Leadership positions
• Significant experience selling into the senior front office of Private Equity firms and other investment firms with a PE book
• Strong track record of hitting/exceeding team and individual quotas
• Experience selling a unestablished product/offering to PE firms
• Startup experience would be ideal
• Experience at expert networks or other PE software providers like DealCloud, Backstop, etc.
