About the Role
OMS/PMS Implementation Analysts needed! NYC area only. $80k - $100k base plus bonus.
Primary Job Functions
o Efficiently manage to completion onboarding projects for hedge funds and asset managers.
o Analyze project requirements and provide complete documentation of the creation of functional analyses, runbooks and workflow reports.
o Identify and internally communicate software defects and draft technical proposals for client-requested changes in any product.
o Provide onsite and remote training for front office, back office, portfolio managers and compliance officers on the product suite and compose training documentation as needed.
o Manage firm’s vendor-client relationships, which include technology teams, prime brokers, fund administrators and executing brokers on behalf of the client.
o Consistently follow up with clients post-project, with the core purpose of enhancing user experience and identifying any upsell opportunities.
Candidate Qualifications and preferred attributes:
o Bachelor’s degree or University degree equivalent required
o 2-3 years of experience preferred
o Analytical thinking, problem solving and the ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations
o Experience with databases and knowledge of SQL
o Experience with Java and/or Python is a plus
o Working understanding of the FIX protocol
o Technical aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and languages
o Working knowledge and deep interest in financial markets and the investment process
