About the Role

INSTITUTIONAL FIXED INCOME SALES needed an exciting FINTECH STARTUP! $150k - $200k base, $350k - $400k OTE plus equity. Fully remote but must be located in NYC area.

Our client is re-imagining fixed income trading and portfolio management using the latest techniques in AI/ML. They empower their clients, who are the world's largest, most sophisticated institutional investors, to optimize their fixed income execution strategy.

Responsibilities:

● Prospect for new client relationships using your own professional network, firmwide relationships, client and partner referrals, industry events, cold calling, etc.

● Own the entirety of the sales cycle, including initial contact, demoing the software, understanding client use cases and communicating value proposition, negotiating terms and closing deals

● Work collaboratively with the Relationship Management team to provide holistic coverage across our clients’ organization, including C-suite executives, traders, operations personnel, etc.

● Organize and participate in periodic review meetings with clients, using a data-driven approach to account management

● Represent the firm at various industry events and conferences, including speaking opportunities

Requirements:

● 5 - 15 years of prior experience in a sales capacity covering institutional investors at a bank dealer desk, e-trading business, trading venue, software vendor or data / analytics provider

● First-hand knowledge of the ins-and-outs of electronic corporate bond trading, including common protocols and workflows

● Independent, self-motivated and a fast learner, with a desire to work in a face-paced, dynamic start-up environment

● Credibility with C-level executives, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Strong markets background and ability to speak to traders and portfolio managers
