About the Role

Relationship Manager needed at booming startup! NYC area only. Hybrid 3 - 4 days a week. $130k - $150k base and discretionary bonus plus equity. Must have corporate bond experience on a trading desk or with a credit trading platform.

Job Description:

The Relationship Management team works with clients on a daily basis helping them to maximize the value of the system and soliciting feedback about new features and products. As the first member of the Relationship Management team, your responsibilities will be:

● Gain a deep understanding of clients' trading strategies, requirements and behaviors, and how these translate into use cases for the firm's technology solutions
● Foster strong relationships with buy-side clients across trading, operations and technology
● Become a subject matter expert on all current and new product features
● Provide real-time support to users, including liaising with internal teams, trading venues and client representatives when necessary
● Deliver ongoing client training to ensure a seamless user experience, including introducing new features and functionality
● Continuously relay feedback from the client base to internal teams to develop enhancements and features that improve user experience
● Stay abreast of and understand market developments that could impact electronic trading and the competitive landscape
● Organize and participate in periodic review meetings with clients, using a data-driven approach to account management

Requirements:

● 3+ years of prior experience as a bond trader, trading assistant, sales person, portfolio manager, or operations professional
● First-hand knowledge of the ins-and-outs of electronic corporate bond trading, including common protocols and workflows
● Independent, self-motivated and a fast learner, with a desire to work in a face-paced, dynamic start-up environment
● Ability to work effectively in a team environment
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
