About the Role

OMS/PMS Sales needed at one of the newer players in the space! Hybrid 3 - 4 days a week in office in NYC only. $140k - $175k base and $250k - $275k+ OTE. Maybe remote for perfect fit. Must have experience selling OMS/PMS or something very similar within front to back office software. This is a true hunting role and you will be very focused on lead generation.

Our client provides cutting-edge, cloud-native Order Management System (OMS) and Portfolio Management System (PMS) solutions to hedge funds and asset managers. Their mission is to empower buy-side firms with technology that simplifies operations, ensures compliance, and drives profitability.

They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to expand their presence in the U.S. market. This individual will be pivotal in driving enterprise sales of their OMS/PMS solutions to hedge funds and asset managers, building strategic partnerships, and achieving aggressive growth targets

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Sales: Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
• Lead Generation: Develop a strong pipeline through cold outreach, networking, and leveraging existing business relationships.
• Consultative Selling: Understand client challenges and position their solutions as value-driven tools for operational excellence.
• Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain a network of business partners, leveraging relationships to generate new opportunities.
• Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings to position them as the partner of choice.
• Pipeline Management: Track and manage sales activities through CRM tools (Salesforce) to ensure consistent progress toward targets.


Requirements:

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in enterprise sales, particularly in selling technology solutions to hedge funds and asset managers.
• OMS/PMS Sales Expertise: Experience selling OMS/PMS systems or similar buy-side fintech solutions is highly preferred.
• Resilience & Tenacity: Ability to generate leads through cold outreach and manage long sales cycles with persistence.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of buy-side trading, operations, compliance and accounting requirements, and technology needs.
• Consultative Approach: Ability to engage with clients at all levels and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions and close deals effectively.
• CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) for tracking sales activities, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Growth Mindset: Demonstrable experience of Objection Handling, Continuous Learning, Sales Problem Solving and Building Long-Term Customer Relationships.
