About the Role

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE needed at my CRM/VDR STARTUP! Remote anywhere in the Midwest or on the East Coast. Base $65k - $85k plus strong commission. Ideally 1 - 2 years of experience in an SDR/BDR role at a technology/software or financial services firm.

Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be at the forefront of their sales efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and qualify prospective customers. You'll play a critical role in building their sales pipeline by generating and nurturing leads, setting up discovery calls, and collaborating with the sales team to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, email campaigns, and inbound leads.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone calls, and social media to establish initial contact.
- Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and qualify them as potential customers.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM system, ensuring consistent follow-up and lead tracking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account executives to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on outreach strategies, messaging, and tools to optimize effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years in a sales or lead-generation role, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and sales strategies.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for contributing to team success.
