



About the Role
SALES ENGINEER needed at one of our INVESTMENT TECHNOLOGY STARTUPS! Can be remote anywhere in the US or hybrid in NYC. Base $150k - $225k depending on location and experience plus bonus/commission. Must have experience in sales engineering/pre sales at a financial markets technology firm that works with hedge funds, private equity/credit, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly become an SME in the software platform
- Prepare and maintain the demo environments
- Create demo materials, marketing collateral and videos
- Engage with prospects and customers throughout the sales process to understand the business model, challenges and objectives
- Ensure that pre-sales propositions and demos are accurately targeted and diligently prepared
Qualifications:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in sales engineering at a financial markets technology firm, ideally within front to back office software
- Experience facing senior business and technology stakeholders
- Experience working with hedge funds and/or private markets firms
