About the Role

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER needed! Hybrid 4x per week in office in NYC. Base $125k - $150k and 1.5x OTE. This is a farmer role focused on renewals and upselling existing hedge fund accounts. Must have similar experience at a hedge fund software vendor.

Our client is a leading technology solutions and consulting firm serving the alternative investment management industry. The firm’s solutions include data management, recon, security master, analytics and more and the company also provides consulting and operational managed services.

The account management team focuses on developing long-term partnerships with strategic customers. They work to deeply understand client needs and develop tailored offerings that enhance customer value and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings strong account management expertise, a background in consultative sales, and a history of managing complex client relationships within hedge funds and alternative investment firms.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a dedicated territory and client list as a strategic Account Manager
- Define and execute account growth strategies through targeted campaigns
- Create and manage comprehensive account plans detailing areas of engagement and growth opportunities
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new opportunities and assist in closing new business
- Negotiate and close renewals while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software sales and/or account management, specifically working with hedge fund clients
- Proven track record of managing a minimum $1.5Mn USD book of business with consistent ARR growth of 10-15%
- Strong understanding of Asset management and alternative investments, Trade lifecycle and operations, Buy-side systems and vendor platforms and the Evolving buy-side technology landscape
- Proven experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers
