About the Role

VP of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT needed! 4x per week in the office in Nassau County. $80k - $120k base and up to $200k OTE. Must have experience selling into hedge funds and/or private equity firms. Experience with middle/back office solutions and/or Fund Admin would be ideal.

A decade later in 2022, underpinned by their suite of technologies, they started an operations division in India and began providing fund administration and outsourced reconciliation services. What separates their fund administration service is not only the high touch service that their clients come to expect but more importantly their fully automated tech suite that reduces errors, reduces time to close NAVs and ultimately reduces operational costs while improving Operational Efficiency.

Staying independent of the bulge bracket firms and conflicted investments, they are here for the long haul to help the industry push the bounds of technology.

Responsibilities:
• Own the entire proposal process: identify customer's needs, develop win themes, and produce complete proposals
• Assess the competitive landscape and track key market trends and developments
• Network, prospect and sell products and services and build prospect pipeline
• Meet sales quota and build solid prospect pipeline
• Present product, negotiate sales and perform onsite or remote demo to clients and prospects
• Manage projects and work with business analysts and developers to quickly deliver POC projects on time
• Build marketing campaigns through various social media channels and establish brand
• Provide account support as well as excellent customer service and smooth communications
• Attend events and conference


Requirements:
• 3 - 7 years overall sales experience
• Proven track record selling software or services to hedge funds and/or PE firms, ideally both
• Ideally some experience selling middle/back office solutions or fund admin services
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales productivity software.
