



About the Role
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE needed at one of our MSP clients that provides IT, Cyber and AI solutions to Private Equity firms!!! Hybrid in NYC only. Base $80k - $100k+ x2 OTE. Must have 3+ years of AE or SDR/BDR experience with some experience selling managed IT, Cyber, etc. solutions. Experience selling into PE and/or investment management firms would be a huge bonus.
Our client drives technological advancement for firms through artificial intelligence, cybersecurity solutions, and a robust cloud-based managed services platform and are recognized as a leader in the managed services sector.
What You’ll Do :
As a Account Executive, you'll develop new business by understanding clients’ IT and cybersecurity needs. You will connect with decision makers, build strong relationships, and drive revenue for their AI Technology Managed Service Platform. For example, you may lead the sales cycle for a new AI, cybersecurity or IT solution targeting financial institutions, collaborating with technical teams to tailor offerings for client-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Find, engage, and close new prospects
• Convert inbound leads and grow referral networks
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to contract
• Achieve sales targets via direct and indirect efforts
• Build scalable lead sources for pipeline growth
• Be a thought leader in high-value sectors
• Qualify opportunities and work with technical teams to build technology solutions on the AI Technology Managed Services Platform.
• Keep accurate forecasts and account data in HubSpot
• Stay updated on industry trends in Alternative Financial Space
• Attend industry events (up to 20% travel)
• Complete required reporting and administration tasks
Skills & Qualifications:
• Three+ years inside sales or AE experience in cybersecurity, IT solutions, or SaaS
• Solution selling expertise in Financial Services/PE is a plus
• Strong industry network for pipeline and revenue growth
• Ability to build trust and close complex sales
• Advanced organizational and CRM skills (HubSpot preferred)
• Team collaboration and operational discipline
• Effective communication with executive leadership
