GLOBAL HEAD OF SHARED SERVICES needed at one of our MSP clients!!! Hybrid in NYC only. Base $225k - $250k plus strong performance bonus.

As the Global Head of Shared Services in this Executive leadership role, you will supervise a multinational team of engineers across various disciplines that form the ecosystem supporting clients and enabling regional support teams. Your responsibility will encompass overseeing a broad portfolio of offerings and technologies, focusing on delivering top-tier quality and enhancing operational efficiency. The teams under your supervision will include Network and Systems Services, specialized groups, and an array of other local and remote technical engineers. Key variables to ensure operational success will include skill levels, utilization rates, customer satisfaction, Executive engagement, training, communications, and management sessions. Additionally, for financial growth, crucial variables will involve identifying critical accounts, managing risks, tracking daily backlog status, pipeline and funnel management, and optimizing capacity management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead Shared Services Delivery of Specialized Teams, Services Growth, and Client Satisfaction
• Provides strategic leadership, oversight and establishes relationships with key decision makers among clients to effectively manage expectations
• Closely monitors and maintains the targeted utilization of all billable Executives
• Drives the Managed Services team to achieve and surpass regional growth targets
• Develops and implements systems and processes to ensure and improve client satisfaction
• Work closely with the Regional Services teams establish consistent and effective processes and tools, application of common best practices in services delivery, share learnings and to support consistent performance quality.
• Creates and leads a strategy to ensure Shared Services processes, resource capacity and tools are aligned with a rapid growth trajectory
• Assists team with solving complex problems
• Creates an environment of effective communication and collaboration
• Work closely with the Region Sales team to grow Managed Services business through winning new client business plus growing organically within existing client accounts.
• Have control over the P&L for your business units.
• Make decisions that impact financial performance. You will create and manage your capital and operating budget. You will make the decisions necessary to meet your financial targets.
• Routinely monitors financial performance accounts to maximize revenue realization and profit margin

Position Requirements:

• 10+ years practical experience in IT services
• 5+ years’ experience managing a P&L and leading / motivating global professional service teams from 20+ people
• Impeccable ethical standards and high professional standards of excellence
• Proven track record in problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and professionally driven pragmatist
• Communication skills to motivate a diversely talented workforce
• Ability to propose/debate ideas in a proactive manner when appropriate
• Proven track record at being entrepreneurial when looking at new business opportunities and creating strategic relationships; excellent proposal writer and presenter combined with strong “closing” skills
• Proven track record of selling consulting engagements / IT services
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
• Strong ability to set objectives/goals and establish reasonable action plans to get the goals accomplished
• Ability to think strategically and create long and short-term plans
• Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to demonstrate client sensitivity
• Proven ability to understand the needs of clients
• Ability to think logically and can process and relay information in a way that is useful
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• BA/BS degree in the field of Business or equivalent field or equivalent experience
