



INSIDE SALES/BDR/SDR needed at one of our clients that provides solutions across analytics, trading, market data, connectivity and infrastructure to investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, broker dealers, exchanges and electronic trading firms!!! Hybrid 2 - 3x per week in LONDON only. Base £40k - £50k plus £25k commission/bonus target. Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in a lead generation or sales role targeting the buy and/or sell sides. You will also own their CRM and outbound lead gen systems so must have relevant experience with these tools as well. Great opportunity to be their first BDR hire and to move into a full AE role in time.
Our client is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the growth of their enterprise business across the global financial markets ecosystem within EMEA, AMRS & APAC. This role focuses on lead generation and pipeline development across both existing strategic accounts and new logo prospects, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, exchanges, and trading technology firms. Working closely with Senior Sales Leaders and Marketing, the BDR will identify new opportunities, build stakeholder intelligence across target organizations, and generate qualified leads for the enterprise sales team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct cold calls to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Execute targeted email campaigns to engage prospects and generate meetings
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client requests, administrative, technical matters and new business inquiries
- Support marketing led campaigns and events, including the following up on leads from industry events and conferences
- Develop a deep understanding of their services and Products to effectively communicate value propositions to potential new customers
- Identify decision-makers and technical stakeholders across trading, infrastructure, engineering, and market data teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to align on messaging and coordinate follow-ups
- Schedule meetings for the Sales Team and assist in moving deals through early stages of the Sales cycle
- Provide feedback to the wider Sales Team on market trends, prospect pain points and competitor intelligence
Education, Skills, and background: -
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an inside sales, business development, or lead generation role, in FinTech, technology or infrastructure related field
- Previous experience selling into financial services or enterprise IT environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills critical
- Prior experience with CRM / marketing platforms such as e.g. Salesloft / Salesforce / Hubspot/LinkedIn
- Self-starter, team player, energetic, enthusiastic and organized
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) would be an advantage
