INVESTMENT DATA ANALYST/PERFORMANCE MANAGER needed at a $20B+ global equity investment management firm!!! Full time on site in NYC only. Base $160k - $175k plus strong bonus. Looking for 8 - 15 years of total relevant experience. Must also have experience with workflow and automation platforms such as Lightkeeper, Equity Data Science (EDS), or similar tools.

Our client is a well-respected $20 plus billion global equity investment management firm with offices in New York and London. The NYC team seeks a skilled data and performance analyst/manager with extensive experience working with global equities and long-term investment strategies. Key position reporting directly to the COO. Key Responsibilities of the Performance Manager:

- Create and manage performance reporting, risk analysis and reporting, attribution, characteristics, model portfolio simulation, and statistical analysis.
- Perform rate of return recalculations (Attributions and Convexity) and performance reconciliation
- Composite construction, maintenance, and reporting
- Assist in developing and standardizing performance analytics for portfolios and composites
- Develop attribution reporting aligned with investment team strategies and methodologies, including risk-based attribution and ex-ante risk analysis (simulation).
- Maintain screening tools for the identification of the investable universe based on parameters set by the investment team.
- Create attribution reporting for external usage aligned to portfolio market outlook and strategy alignment.
- Create analytics for marketing and client service (characteristics, risk exposures, performance drivers, and detractors integrated with investment team market outlook).
- Maintain GIPS compliance and assist with documentation required for verification by outside audit firm.
- Enable risk analytics for investment strategy including generation of metrics for reporting to the investment team, e.g., liquidity, country risk, volatility.
- Reconcile SMAs and funds to the IBOR and independently verify account valuations.
- Provide end-of-day valuations and estimated performance for purposes of upkeeping valuations in the OMS.
- Explore and implement AI-driven tools and platforms (e.g., Lightkeeper, Equity Data Science (EDS), or similar) to enhance automation, streamline research workflows, and improve data management and reporting efficiency across the investment team.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual work, and increase scalability through technology (ie, EDS, Lightkeeper etc.) and workflow enhancements.
- Promptly respond to inquiries from all levels within the organization.

Qualifications of the Performance Manager:

- 8+ years of experience in the investment management industry, including deep experience with global equities and the calculation and execution of portfolio performance, data analytics, and reporting.
- Deep expertise in quantitative investment performance analysis, reporting, and standards (e.g., GIPS, SEC, FMPS, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and FactSet platforms (required); able to extract, analyze, and present data in charts, graphs, tables, etc.
- Experience with or strong interest in workflow and automation platforms such as Lightkeeper, Equity Data Science (EDS), or similar tools, with the ability to help enhance research workflows, automate processes, and improve data utilization across the investment team.
- A broad understanding of investment strategies, products, and asset classes, and how investment returns are calculated, measured, and assessed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working and collaborating within a global context.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to identify and address performance reporting challenges.
- BS/BA in a Business, Finance, or related field.
