Base in NYC $150k - $200k and £110k – £160k plus 60% target bonus and EQUITY. Must have 6 - 10+ years of B2B enterprise product experience, fintech and applied AI preferred. Background in investment banking, private credit, private equity, asset management or consulting is ideal as well. Must have some experience with AI/LLMs and also client facing experience, handling discovery and scoping conversations.
Our client develops autonomous AI agents that eliminate the repetitive, manual work slowing down financial institutions. Their technology supports credit, investment, ESG, and compliance workflows for leading asset managers, PE firms and investment banks.
Senior Outcome Engineers build new products directly from real client problems.
This is not a traditional solutions or implementation role.
You will:
- Work directly with senior stakeholders at top financial institutions
- Identify high-value, unsolved workflows
- Rapidly turn those into MVP AI-powered products
- Drive those products to real usage and measurable outcomes
- Partner with Sales to map renewal, upsell and expansion opportunities
You are a 0→1 product builder embedded in the customer environment, responsible for turning ambiguous workflows into real, deployed AI products.
The Role:
You will operate as part of a small Outcome Pod, embedded directly with clients and responsible for end-to-end outcomes. You will own delivery and outcomes for your client, while partnering with Sales to explore expansion opportunities.
In practice, this means:
- Owning a portfolio of enterprise financial clients and becoming their go-to partner
- Running deep discovery: sitting inside workflows, shadowing analysts, joining working sessions
- Understanding and mapping workflows end-to-end (e.g. credit reviews, investment research, portfolio monitoring)
- Translating messy, ambiguous processes into structured, multi-step AI workflows
- Rapidly building MVPs and prototypes; iterating directly with users
- Working in lockstep with Product Engineers to ship usable capabilities weekly
- Designing evaluation logic, edge cases, and correctness criteria
- Driving adoption: ensuring clients can independently use what you build
- Measuring success via real KPI movement and usage
- Managing multi-threaded client engagements (business, security, procurement)
- Expanding usage: identifying new use cases, teams, and opportunities
- Converting workflows into reusable product components and feeding product direction
- Work closely with vertical leads to align on what “good” looks like, while maintaining ownership of execution and client outcomes
Success is defined by whether the client uses what you build and your ability to replicate that impact across their organization.
Requirements:
Must-haves
- 6-10+ years of B2B enterprise product experience, fintech and applied AI preferred
- Proven track record of building products from 0→1: discovery → MVP → iteration → real usage
- Strong client presence with the ability to guide and influence senior stakeholder conversations
- Hands-on GenAI fluency (LLMs, workflows, rapid prototyping)
- Builder mindset: ships V1s in days, thrives in ambiguity, bias to action
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder client environments
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in financial services workflows (credit, investing, research, monitoring)
- Background in IB, private credit, PE, asset management, or consulting
- Familiarity with financial data ecosystems (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)
- Experience with LLM tooling (OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, etc.)
You may be a fit if you’ve held roles like
- Founding Product Manager or early product hire
- AI Product Manager or AI Product Consultant
- Forward Deployed Engineer / Forward Deployed Product
- Solutions Engineer / Solutions Architect (with product ownership)
- Technical Consultant who built products, not just delivered projects
- Startup Founder or early operator (product-focused)
- Financial analyst / investor who transitioned into building tools or automation
