TRADER needed at a hedge fund in AUSTIN!!! Full time in office. Base $175k - $225k plus strong bonus potential. Great opportunity to be the first hire on the trading desk (currently using an OTD). Looking for exactly 4 - 10 years of experience. They will also pay for you to relocate there!
Requirements:
• Around 4-6 years of experience: ideally ~3 - 4 years sell side + ~1 - 2 years buy side at high pedigree firms
- Direct from Derivatives Desk on the sell-side would be ideal
• Equities focus, but can trade cross-asset; derivatives/options experience is a huge plus;
- Someone that can navigate liquidity needs when the firm grows
• Synthesize macro/market color and impact on long only portfolio; Become “go-to” in Industrial Economy sectors;
• High analytical horsepower with the ability to build out risk and performance analytics (including factor analysis)
• Manage sell-side relationships and wallet (including broker vote)
• Build out ECM strategy
• Maintain in class operational infrastructure
