HEAD OF NORTH AMERICA SALES needed at one of our clients that provides middle/back office solutions to hedge funds and asset managers! Fully remote (or hybrid if you prefer) but must be located in the NYC area. Base $225k - $250k x2 OTE plus EQUITY. Must have experience selling PMS, analytics, or other relevant solutions into the middle and back office of buy side firms, with at least 2 years of experience in a player/coach or sales leadership position. You will carry both an individual and team quota.

Our client is a leading provider of cloud-native portfolio management software, real-time risk analytics, data, and managed services for hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly commercial, technically credible, and hands-on Player / Coach Sales Leader to help accelerate their next phase of growth.

This is a hybrid role for someone who can both:

- Personally drive complex enterprise sales cycles with hedge funds, asset managers, and institutional financial firms; and
- Build, mentor, and elevate a high-performing sales organization.

You will lead from the front — actively originating and closing strategic opportunities while coaching a growing team on enterprise sales execution, account strategy, and consultative selling within capital markets technology.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of investment management workflows with a proven track record selling sophisticated SaaS, analytics, OMS/PMS, risk, treasury, post-trade, or managed services solutions into institutional clients.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Leadership

- Own and deliver against new business revenue targets across strategic accounts and territories

- Personally manage and close a portfolio of high-value enterprise opportunities

- Build executive relationships with CIOs, COOs, CTOs, Heads of Risk, Portfolio Managers, Operations leaders, and trading teams

- Develop account penetration strategies for hedge funds, multi-strategy firms, asset managers, and financial institutions

Team Leadership & Coaching

- Hire, mentor, and develop a world-class enterprise sales team

- Instill operational rigor across pipeline management, forecasting, deal qualification, and sales execution

- Coach team members through complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles

- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Strategic Selling

- Lead consultative sales engagements around:
- Portfolio management technology
- Real-time risk and P&L analytics
- Derivatives modeling
- Investment operations outsourcing
- Treasury and post-trade services
- Multi-asset trading infrastructure

- Partner closely with product, solutions engineering, operations, and client services teams to shape compelling client solutions

- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings

Market Development

- Help refine the firm's go-to-market strategy and enterprise sales motion

- Provide structured feedback to product leadership based on market demand and competitive intelligence

- Identify emerging opportunities across alternatives, multi-manager platforms, outsourced operations, and institutional infrastructure modernization

Required Experience

- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in capital markets technology

- Demonstrated success selling into the middle/back office of hedge funds and asset managers

- Proven ability to both close business directly and lead sales teams

- Strong understanding of investment management workflows and institutional trading environments

- Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise sales cycles

- Strong executive presence and relationship management skills

Preferred Experience:

- Experience selling PMS, OMS, EMS, IBOR, risk analytics, treasury or post-trade solutions

- Familiarity with derivatives, multi-asset trading, and investment operations

- Existing network across hedge funds and alternative asset managers

- Experience in a high-growth or founder-led environment
